Title Page
The full title of the article in English and Turkish, the Turkish-English short title, the first letters of each word should be capitalized, the others should be lowercase, bold and center-aligned. The full name, surname, institution, department, academic title, ORCID number, telephone, e-mail and correspondence address, city and country, telephone number, correspondence and e-mail address of the corresponding author should be included. If the article has been presented as a paper before, the place and date, the type of presentation, the person, institution(s) and organization(s) supporting it, if any, should be indicated. If the authors work in different institutions, the names and organizations should be indicated in uppercase characters (1, 2, 3). Conflict of interest declaration, author contributions, financial and institutional support, and acknowledgments should be included.
ABSTRACT
The Turkish abstract should include the following subheadings: Introduction, Objective, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion, Keywords, and the English abstract should include Background, Objective, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion, Keywords. Turkish and English abstracts should be on separate pages and should contain a maximum of 250 words. References should not be cited in the abstract.
Keywords
It should consist of at least 3 and at most 5 words. Only the initial letter of the first word and the initial letter of proper nouns should be capitalized, other words should be written in lower case. The words should be ordered by placing a semicolon (;) between the words. Turkish keywords should be given in accordance with 'Turkish Science Terms' (http://www.bilimterimleri.com). English keywords should be given in accordance with 'Index Medicus: Medical Subject Heading (MeSH)' standards (www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/MBrowser.html).
Abbreviations
Abbreviations should not be used in the title and abstract. Abbreviations should be defined at the first occurrence and the abbreviation should be given in parentheses.
Table, Figure, Graphic and Picture
Tables, figures and graphs should be placed after the description in the article and numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, 4...). A full stop should be placed after the table number. The table name is written by leaving a space after the period. The first letter of the table name should be capitalized and written justified to the left above the table. Figure and graph titles should also be written with the first letter capitalized and the others lowercase, centered under the figure and graph. When the table does not fit on the page, it should be written as Table 1 (Continued) on a new page. Titles of tables, figures and graphs should be in bold and 10 pt. font size, footnotes should be 9 pt. font size. Tables should be single-spaced, justified and vertical lines should not be used. Figures, graphics and images should be in JPEG or TIFF format. Abbreviations should be given in the description (superscript number) below the tables, figures, graphs and pictures. If previously published tables, figures, graphs and pictures are used, they must be cited and referenced. A full stop should be used when writing decimal numbers. The total number of tables, figures, graphics should be maximum 5 in all articles.
Research Article
These are studies that have completed the scientific research process and present original and important results. Research articles should be maximum 3,500 words (excluding abstract, tables, figures and references). Main headings will be numbered and consist of Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendations sections.
Introduction
The literature related to the researched topic should be given, the problem posed should be compared with current studies and the aim of the research should be added.
Materials and Methods
This section should include the type of research, population and sample, data collection tools, intervention (for experimental and quasi-experimental studies), data analysis, ethical aspects of the research, and limitations of the research.
Findings
It includes the analysis outputs of the data obtained as a result of the study. Findings should be supported with tables, graphs and figures. Unnecessary repetitions should be avoided.
Discussion
It should be original, the data obtained should be discussed and interpreted with the results of relevant national and international studies. It should not be repetitive with the findings section.
Conclusion and Recommendations
This section is the part where comments and evaluations are made on the subject. A summary of the main results obtained from the findings should be presented without repetition. The contribution of the results to the literature should be summarized and recommendations should be made for future studies.
Review: These are studies that include information on the subject using national and international literature. It should be maximum 3500 words (excluding abstract, tables, figures and references). It consists of Abstract, Introduction, Sub-headings related to the subject, Conclusion and Recommendations, References.
Case Report: These are studies that include clinical experiences. It should be maximum 3000 words (excluding abstract, tables, figures and references). It consists of Abstract, Introduction, Case Report, Discussion, References.
Letter to the Editor: These are articles without title and abstract sections, containing opinions and questions about the articles published in the journal. It should be maximum 500 words.
Limitations of the Research
What the researcher experienced during the study are factors that may affect the research outcome. Limitations and shortcomings of the study should be mentioned. It is written after the Conclusion and Recommendations section.
Acknowledgements
The author(s) may briefly and succinctly thank the people, institutions or organizations that contributed. The names of the persons/institutions providing technical assistance, funding support, equipment support should be written in full. This section should be included on the title page.
Author Contribution
In the writing of the article, the contribution of the authors to which section(s) is indicated by writing the initials of their names and surnames. This section should be included in the title page.

Conflict of Interest
Authors must indicate whether they have any conflict of interest.
Transfer of Publication Rights Form
When submitting the manuscript, all authors must sign the Transfer of Publication Rights Form according to the author order in the manuscript and this form must be uploaded to the system.
Ethical Principles
All research submitted for publication in the journal must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki, COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) (https://publicationethics.org/) and ICMJE (Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals) (https://www.icmje.org/icmje-recommendations.pdf). It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that the articles comply with scientific, legal and ethical rules. The principle of compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki Principles is required for experimental, clinical studies, drug trials and case reports. There should be an explanation in the material-method section that the study was conducted in accordance with the Principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. In addition, in this section, it should be stated that 'informed consent' was obtained from patients/volunteers and the name, date and decision number of the ethics committee.
In research on animals, authors are also required to comply with ethical principles and obtain permission from the relevant ethics committees. All articles must include a statement that 'Research and Publication Ethics' have been followed. Submission of manuscripts under evaluation in another journal is not accepted, all responsibility belongs to the author(s).
Legal Notice: The publication rights of all articles published or to be published in the journal belong to Perspectives in Palliative & Home Care. All or any part of the articles cannot be published without the permission of the editorial board.
Plagiarism
The manuscript must be submitted through the plagiarism program (iThenticate) and the plagiarism file must be uploaded to the system. Authors are required to have a maximum of 20% similarity for the articles to be submitted (except abstract, bibliography, tables and figures).
References
APA 7 writing style is used in Perspectives in Palliative & Home Care (https://libraryguides.vu.edu.au/apa-referencing/7GettingStarted). Each source cited in the article must be included in the references section. The majority of the references should consist of articles published within the last 5 years. There should be a maximum of 40 references in research articles and 45 references in reviews. If the referenced studies have a DOI number, it should be added. In the reference section, references are given in alphabetical order. References written by the same author should be dated with the earliest publication first.

Evaluation
Manuscripts submitted to Perspectives in Palliative & Home Care Journal undergo a double-blind review process. First, the manuscript goes through a preliminary control phase by the editor. The editor evaluates the article's compliance with the spelling rules, scientific originality and priority. Articles that are deemed unsuitable in the preliminary check are rejected. Articles that pass the pre-control stage are sent to referees.
Referees are given 7 days to accept the invitation to evaluate the article. They are given 15 days to evaluate the article. The changes made in the article in line with the suggestions from the referees are colored in a different color and the corrections made are prepared in a separate text file and uploaded to the system. The final version of the article accepted for publication is sent to the responsible author before publication and approved for final control. No changes are made to the article after approval. The editor-in-chief is the final authority in the decision-making process for all articles.
